What we collect

Through this website, we collect what you give us: your name, date of birth, callback number, and — if you choose to share them — your email address, insurance carrier, and a brief description of why you'd like to be seen. If you sign up for practice updates, we collect your email address.

Our host also records standard technical information such as IP addresses and pages viewed, to keep the site running and secure.

What we do with it

We use it to contact you, schedule your visit, provide your care, verify insurance, and — if you asked for them — send occasional practice announcements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

We use HIPAA business associate agreements with the vendors that handle your health information. The practice-updates email list is separate and never contains anything about your care.

Email and text messages

Text messages sent to our clinic number travel over the regular mobile network, which is not secure — even though we receive and manage them through Spruce, our HIPAA-compliant messaging service. Regular email is not fully secure either; it may travel over networks we don't control before reaching us.

Once your message reaches us, we store and manage it in systems covered by HIPAA business associate agreements.

For anything you'd rather keep private, use Spruce secure messaging — linked on our site — or call the clinic. Spruce secure messaging is encrypted.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from practice updates using the link in any of those emails. To ask about, correct, or delete information you've given us — or to request your medical records — call us, email us, or send a secure message through Spruce.

If you have a concern about how your health information was handled, contact us first. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, and we will not retaliate against you for doing so.
